Microsoft YouthSpark: One Year Later

One year ago, we announced the launch of Microsoft YouthSpark, a company-wide initiative designed to create opportunities for 300 million youth around the world over the next three years. Since then, we’ve partnered with organizations around the world to empower youth to create a strong future through employment, entrepreneurship, and education. Today, I am proud to share with you that Microsoft has reached over 100 million youth to-date. And we are only getting started. I strongly encourage you to read more, view our infographic on the state of global youth, and watch the video to be inspired by today’s youth: http://spr.ly/YSblog

In the next few weeks, I am looking forward to highlighting YouthSpark Stars from all over the world. They are building better futures through digital literacy, job skills training and entrepreneurial thinking. Today’s youth are fired up, taking action and leading the charge forward to build better lives for themselves and others around them. We’re inspired and proud to stand alongside them, ready to help, every step along the way.
